Come visit the North Fork.....
Let The Jerry Cibulski Team show you A Classic North Fork Experience!
Betty Cibulski walks though a North Fork vineyard on a cool spring morning as she’s been doing since the 70’s. “When I’m among the vines, there is no place I’d rather be,” she says with a smile. She has a deep love of the North
Fork and its very unique climate with sunny days and moderate temperatures that provide the perfect environment for grapes and residents alike. “I was so fortunate to be raised here,” says her son Jerry Cibulski, a Realtor® who specializes in properties on the North Fork. “This is a place for anyone seeking a community that is in harmony with nature, where kids sell lemonade and families can still watch local parades from lawn chairs.” As Jerry gets into his classic 1960 Cadillac, he knows that the more things change, the more they stay the same. He finds it easy to get reflective on how far he’s come since growing up here.
Jerry is known for driving his classic cars, a love which he gained from his dad who, years ago helped him buy his first car. It was a 1971 Nova SS. “My father had a 1957 Chevy and this love of classic cars was passed to me,” explains Jerry. “I’m also very proud of my father who taught me the ethics and work habits necessary to purchase a car like this.” Jerry graduated from Mattituck high school and quickly found that he was not yet ready for college. Four years in the US Marines as an electronics specialist changed that. “I learned the value of working with a team,” says Jerry. “I approach difficult situations with the objective of always finding a solution to the problem. For me, the glass is always “half full.” When Jerry left the Marines, corporate management came naturally. He entered an Agway corporate management program and quickly rose through the organization. When they closed their doors, Jerry took the time to return to college and earned his BS in Business Management while working nights as a ski instructor and as a supervisor for UPS. He learned early that life is not handed to you. “You have to work hard for what you want.”
Jerry’s time away from the North Fork raised his appreciation for his hometown. The town had changed, but in a very positive way. The culture has grown to include maritime festivals, art fairs, summer concerts, and host of Bed & Breakfast Inns that could grace the pages of a magazine. Yet the area still retains its small town feel even as 3,000 folks can turn out for the Cutchogue Volunteer Fire Department chicken Bar B Q. “When I moved back, I became a champion for this region and that is how I got into real estate. People today are looking for a lifestyle. They want savor this beautiful climate, relax at the beach, watch fireworks with the kids, and enjoy neighborhoods where you are comfortable knowing you don’t have to lock your doors.” says Jerry Cibulski. “Having ventured to the grass on the other side of the fence, and I know the grass really is greener on the North Fork side. I have a passion for this region and love to share it with others. My clients don’t want to be sold. They simply want to explore and get a taste of this region. When their appreciation for this region builds, I’m ready to help them acquire a small piece of this place.”
