Klipps Marine Park & Beach

Southold Township residents have access to any of the Southold Town Beaches.  Located in Greenport at the end of Manhanset Ave, this is one of the best of the Southold Town Beaches.  Klipps Marine Park has two boat ramps with a floating dock that makes launching a boat simple and easy. There is plenty of parking for trucks with trailers while you are out on the water. The boat launch has direct access to Gardiners Bay.

Klipps Park Beach is a wide sandy bay beach with lifeguards during the summer season. The beach has clean restrooms, swings on the beach and views of Shelter Island and Bug Lighthouse.  Wednesday nights during the summer season they start the sailboat race around Shelter Island at 6:00pm from this beach. 

Parking is by Southold Town Parking Permit. Permits are available at the Southold Town Clerks office and limited access at the booth.
