Residents of the hamlets of Southold Township have access to Kenny's Beach in Southold NY, overlooking Long Island Sound. This is one of the popular Southold Town Beaches with both the locals and Summer Vacation Renters and Second Home Owners. This beach has lifeguards during the summer season. This is a wide sandy beach with plenty of parking. Parking is by Southold Town Parking Permit and is checked by Southold Town traffic police.  Fishing is permited at the beach and requires a NY State fishing license. All permits are available for purchase at the Southold Town Clerks office.  There are clean restrooms at the beach and a restaurant within walking distance.  The sunsets off of this beach are worth the time and trip.
