Goldsmith Inlet Pond and Beach is managed by the Southold Town Beach system and is available for the residents of all of the Southold Town Hamlet homeowners and guests.  Parking is by Southold Town Parking Permit.  Goldsmith Inlet Pond and Beach is a family favorite.  This is natures water park with the wide sandy beach overlooking Long Island Sound.  As the tide rolls in and out of Goldsmith Pond the water becomes a safe channel for body boarding.  Parents are nearby on the sandy beaches to keep watch over the fun.  Goldsmith Inlet leads to Goldsmith Pond and is popular for exploring on a kayak.  Goldsmith Inlet is also a popular fishing location.
